1. About these terms
Castle Raid is operated by ZOAK PTY LTD (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These terms apply to castle-raidr.com and the Castle Raid player portal and game services that link to these terms, including our Microsoft sign-in application (together, the “Service”).
By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Any additional terms for a particular feature will be presented before you use it.
2. Development & availability
The public website is a game overview. The player portal and public play are still in development. Browsing the website does not create an account, reserve a raid, or award equipment.
Artwork, previews, item examples, and planned features may change. We may update, interrupt, limit, or discontinue features for development, maintenance, security, or operational reasons. We do not promise a release date, uninterrupted access, or that every previewed feature will become available.
3. Accounts & eligibility
Where sign-in is available, use a personal Microsoft account that you are authorised to use. Microsoft handles your sign-in credentials. Keep your account and devices secure, and tell us if you suspect unauthorised use of your Castle Raid account.
Playing requires a licensed, compatible Minecraft Bedrock client and any multiplayer access required by your platform. A Microsoft sign-in alone does not establish a verified Minecraft or Xbox identity; game access may require a separate verification step.
You must meet the age and consent requirements that apply to you and to your Microsoft, Xbox, and Minecraft accounts. If you cannot enter into these terms yourself, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to them on your behalf and supervise your use. A feature may have additional eligibility requirements.
4. Acceptable use
Use the Service lawfully and treat other players with respect. You must not:
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or disclose another person's private information without permission.
- Cheat, manipulate reward records, exploit bugs for an unfair advantage, or bypass account, party, or game access controls.
- Attempt unauthorised access, distribute malicious software, disrupt the Service, or overload its infrastructure.
- Use the Service to infringe another person's rights or breach applicable law.
Report security issues and unintended exploits privately to contact@zoak.au. Do not include passwords, sign-in codes, or access tokens.
5. Game progress & items
Where gameplay is available, characters, levels, equipment, and rewards are features of the Service. They have no promised cash value and do not give you ownership of the Service or a right to trade them for real money.
The current design awards new permanent loot and progression only after a successful raid. A failed or abandoned raid grants no new permanent rewards. We may rebalance gameplay or correct invalid progress and rewards. Development and test environments may be reset; “permanent” progression describes progress between supported runs, not a guarantee of indefinite storage or service availability.
The public overview does not offer purchases. Any future paid offering will present its price and applicable payment, cancellation, and refund terms before purchase.
6. Content & third parties
Our website content, original artwork, and branding belong to us or their respective licensors. You may browse and use the Service for its intended purpose. Reuse beyond that purpose requires permission unless allowed by law or an applicable licence. Third-party software, fonts, and other materials retain their own licences.
Castle Raid is an independent Minecraft Bedrock project. It is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. Minecraft, Xbox, and Microsoft names and marks belong to their respective owners.
Microsoft sign-in, Minecraft, Xbox, and any external services you choose to use have their own terms and privacy notices. We do not control their operation or content.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit the website, sign in, or use available player services. Please read it before providing personal information.
8. Suspension & ending use
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, protect players or the Service, or comply with law. Where practical and appropriate, we will explain the restriction and give you an opportunity to contact us about it.
You may stop using the Service at any time. To request account closure or deletion of personal information, contact contact@zoak.au. Signing out or removing Microsoft's permission for the app does not by itself delete records already held by Castle Raid; our Privacy Policy explains retention and your choices.
9. Responsibility & your rights
The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every purpose, and we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies a consumer guarantee, remedy, or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. Any limitation in these terms applies only to the extent the law permits.
10. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the Service develops or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised terms here and update the date above. For material changes affecting an active account or feature, we will provide an appropriate notice through the Service before the changes take effect, and seek agreement where required by law.
11. Contact
For questions about these terms, account access, or a dispute, contact ZOAK PTY LTD at contact@zoak.au. Describe the issue and the outcome you are seeking so we can investigate and respond.
